Selling this 82 Jeep CJ7 4x4 I bought for my 16 year old son, who due to some poor choices will not be driving for quite some time. I have not had this for very long but will tell you what I know about it. I bought this while traveling on business out East and drove it home 700+ miles without incident so I can speak to its driveablitly. It runs and drives fine. Is it a Luxurious smooth comfortable ride? Hell NO its a Jeep and rides like one that is the fun of it. I did not do any of the work on it but know the following items to be recently replaced: New Alternator, Thermostat, Top and Bottom Radiator hoses, fuel filter, rotor button, distributer cap, plugs & plug wires Jeep has a Flat Black paint job, hard top, hard doors, XRC 8000 # Winch by Smittybuilt (never used), 2" lift, Off road Front bumper with 3 High Output lights, Off road Rear bumper with 2" tow receiver, CD player, CB, eightball shifter, cherrybomb exhaust,and also has a bestop softtop ( I am not sure if all the pieces are there for this I have never seen it on see pic) 4.2L V6 Engine, 5 Speed Manual Trans, Dana 300 Transfer Case, Dana 30 axles Now what I know to be wrong with it: Leak in the rear brake line, jeep stops fine but rear driverside line needs replaced, frame has rust damage on driver side rear but is repairable, tires roll but should be replaced not sure how much life they have left on them. body is in really good shape and solid for its age but has had some work on it and is not going to win any car shows, leaks some fluids as you would expect from a jeep this age but hardly anything. All and all it is a fun jeep to drive and I will actually miss having it around but unfortunately I have to get rid of it deliver a wake up call to a young man. Buyer responsible for pickup or shipping, I will help with your shipper if need be. Jeep is an 1982 CJ7 had to list as 1980 because ebay says the VIN is invalid ??? however the OHIO DMV has no issue with it.
