I have a 2001 ford f-250 xlt long bed ext. cab diesel 4x4 with the 7.3 diesel. i bought this truck with the intention of me and a friend building my dream toy and i started buying all the parts and accessories to do that with but due to a recent loss i no longer have the ability or even the ambition to do it anymore i drove this truck up from Texas myself and its never seen salt or snow. the body and under carriage are beautiful and the interior is decent with some wear on the seats. it does have the minor dings and scratches you would expect for its age but nothing serious. it runs good but does need some work. it has some white smoke on cold starts that goes away after it warms up and you can hear an injector clacking. i took a video of it and the smoke dissapeared after about one minute but im not savvy enough to figure out how to post the video on this ad but i could probably email it if i needed to. i was told by two mechanics that the smoke is due to the fact it needs an injector so i bought one but never put it in and it is included with the truck. the original gauge cluster recently broke so i bought one from a junkyard and installed it and it works fine now. i have the original so it can be repaired and i have all the documentation to verify the mileage. approx. 220K.( actually its probably a little less) and i was gonna redo the ball joints but didnt do that either. i have all new moog parts for it. i also have a brand new leveling kit for it. a push bar. really nice 17 inch chrome wheels and misc other parts. my reserve is waaaay below blue book but no i will not tell anyone what it is. (blue book is almost 12k). all the other parts i will either sell at my cost or return to the store for cash. i am no mechanic and know nothing about diesels. this was my first one. my friend was the mechanic so i can only repeat what Ive been told. I REPEAT.
