This is a super, super dry and rust free 1958 Buick Special. Original paint and interior. I have not found a single spot of rust on this car. Options include; Power Steering, Power Brakes, flashers, and Air Conditioning. Very rare to find such a dry '58 buick 4drht barn find. It has been sitting for many years here in Arizona. The original paint is thin all over, but gives the car a nice patina look. Original paint, so no hidden rust, bondo or body work. The chrome and pot metal are also original and very very nice for a 55 year old car. The grille is not broken and is in very good condition (rare). There is damage to the rear bumper center bar, and the left tail light lense is missing. It is also missing two pieces of trim on the right quarter panel and the ring around the headlights on the left side. The windshield is cracked, and the driver's door side glass is broken, but all other glass is good. At some point, aftermarket turn signals were added to each corner of the car. They could be removed and the holes repaired fairly painlessly. Overall the body is pretty spectacular considering how original it is. The red and black interior is original. The door panels are nice, and the dash is usable, but the rest of the interior needs to be re-done. The steering wheel is still very nice. The padded part of the glovebox door has dried up. The drive-train is complete, but I do not know when the motor ran last. The person I bought it from removed the carb to use on another project, so it is missing. The air cleaner is with the car. The brake booster and master cylinder were removed to be rebuilt, but are still intact and included. The engine compartment is very original, and does not looked "messed with" at all. There are some extra parts included with the car like; a new-in-box front park light lense (the two on the car are perfect), gasket set, new u-joints, wheel seals, etc. This is a no reserve auction. The car is listed for sale, so the auction may end early. Comes with a clean and clear Arizona title. I require a $1000 deposit within 48 hours. The remainder is due within 7 days.
