Vehicle Detail

Original Owner, meticulously maintained, always garaged and pampered. I sold my Harley FXRS and purchased this bike brand new from South Bay Triumph (California) in 1998. What a difference! This bike is ten times the bike my previous Harley was. Don't take offense, Harley fans - different strokes......different folks. This is a liquid-cooled DOHC, inline triple T-bird, 5-speed trans, polished alloy spoke wheels, weight: 485 lbs. This particular model is very had to find, especially in this (very desirable) color combination. This Thunderbird came with the optional Triumph "King/Queen" seat. Everything is original on this bike - beautiful factory Triumph paint with hand-painted striping and accents. The only things I added at purchase was a Triumph windscreen (which was removed - 4 bolts - for the purposes of taking detailed photos), Triumph performance silencers (gives it a little more sound and power), and a cruise-control. I also added the passenger backrest and cargo rack - both Triumph original accessories, of course, which can be removed if desired. I have the original rear passenger grab rail if you want to take off the passenger backrest and/or the cargo rack and just put the grab rail back on. The windscreen only takes a few minutes to put back on. I might have the original silencers that I can include if desired. They look exactly like the accessory silencers - you could not tell the difference. The cruise-control is a twist-lock type located at the end of the right handgrip. Everything is in perfect working condition. The bike runs like a top, starts right up, handles beautifully (like all Triumphs!). Brakes are fine, upholstery still looks like brand new, all gauges work perfectly. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this bike. It's always been reliable and problem-free. It has always had timely and professional dealer servicing. It has a LOT of power. It is also incredibly comfortable, both for rider and passenger. The King/Queen seat is the most comfortable seat I've ever had on a bike. (And I've been riding for over 40 years). It's NEVER been in an accident or been dropped or sustained any damage of any kind. The only defect is a very small dent in the very bottom edge of the rear fender that happened when I was backing it up in the garage. If you look closely, you can see it in one of the photos. But it's tiny and barely noticeable. The photos tell you more than I probably could, but take a look, and if you have any questions, just let me know. If you live anywhere near northwest Georgia, you are welcome to come take a look in person. I am located just 2 hours from Atlanta, GA, and 2 hours from Birmingham, AL. You will not find another T-bird like this in this condition. It is stunning. I take care of my stuff and it shows. It has always been ridden with kindness and respect, not trashed, ridden hard or raced. I'm easy to get along with as far as payment and shipping, and will cooperate with the buyer in any way I can. Full payment is due within 7 days of sale. I will not reveal my reserve, so please don't ask. THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST IN MY AUCTION!!
