BEAUTIFUL 1978 FORD PINTO WAGON- VERY WELL MAINTAINED! RELISTED- lowered reserve- see update below this description. One family owned survivor! 117,885 original well maintained miles. Stock optional 2.8 V-6 engine with automatic transmission and tow package. Mojave Desert car the last 35 years, so NO RUST whatsoever! Completely dry and solid. Brand new tires! All new hoses and tuneup parts such as new plugs, plug wires, dist cap/rotor, new oil/filter, new coolant, fresh rebuilt carb, new fuel pump, new wiper blades. Perfect headliner, original AM/FM cassette radio, Beautiful interior- does have minor tear on driver seat bottom face. Also, has dash cover, but underneath, dash has 2 cracks-there is a molded vinyl dash cover avail on the ebay market. Air conditioner blows warm air- so that will need to be addressed if you want that working depending where you live. Other than that, everything works! Drives nice, shifts nice, rides nice. Exterior in great condition other than a small dent on right rear corner and scrape above right rear wheel. Also small ding on right front corner. All are easy inexpensive repairs, especially doing it yourself. However I did not want to repair since it is all original paint and buffed out to a glean. I took Pinto in for Smog check, and it failed due to the HC and CO readings are above acceptable levels. All other areas of smog inspection passed. Smog tech said it could be anything from Catalytic converter, rich running carburetor, or even valves not seating properly. I'm ruling out carb since it was freshly professionally rebuilt and set to factory specs. So, for California buyers and for all others for that matter, I am disclosing that this vehicle is being sold in AS IS/ WHERE IS condition.
