I bought this Volvo in the fall of last year when I was driving over 100 miles to work. I wanted a car that was safe and reliable, got good mileage, but didn't look like a smart car. I spent a ton of money making sure the vehicle would be reliable and fun to drive. This car has been great in all respects, but I have since gotten a job much closer to home and am enjoying driving my new(er) truck. Since I have other vehicles, I have decided that I don't need it anymore. The following work was performed at 150,000 miles: New timing belt and tensioners, New Waterpump,New Drive Belt, Updated Thermostat housing (Volvo recommended replacement), Radiator coolant flush and fill,New Power Steering Reservoir and pump hose, Power Steering Fluid flush and fill (with Volvo fluid), Brake Fluid flush and fill (with Volvo fluid), New front brake rotors and pads (Hardex semi-metallic), New rear pads, New front brake flex lines, New front struts, upper swivel mounts, bushings,New rear shocks, All vacuum lines replaced with silicone lines, IPD Silicone Boost hose kit installed,IPD Blue Boost valve spring installed (red one will also come with the car), Oil and filter change (Valvoline VR1) and changed again at 156,000 miles, Transmission fluid flush and fill (Mobil ATF 3309), New Duralast Gold battery, Full size spare tire added, New transmission stabilizer bar, New spark plugs and wires,and new Bosch Icon Wiper Blades. As far as turbo cars go, this car is fast. I installed the blue boost spring so that the car would still run great on mid-grade fuel. However, the red spring will be included if you want additional power. The Volvo gets 27mpg on mid-grade and runs like a champ! Manual Geartronic shifter works great also. I loaned the car to my brother 2 months back when his Saturn died and he hit some black ice at a stop sign and slid into a CRV at 2-3mph. The only thing this did was left a few small marks on the front panel where the rear tire carrier hit the Volvo (see photo). Other than that tiny hit, the Volvo has never been in an accident. This is a used car and there are a few minor issues, and I want to be as honest as possible. The sunroof doesn't work. I don't ever use them so it never bothered me. The key fob quit unlocking the doors shortly after I got the car, but I never had it fixed so you just have to use the key. The transmission occasionally takes a second to go into drive when the car is cold. I have talked with other Volvo owners and this is very common and not a big deal. There are two small door dings on the driver's side rear passenger door (see photo). The rear leather is in good shape, but the front seats could stand to be recovered or just have covers fitted. Hood cable broke and has been rerouted to the front just underneath the car; I have a new cable and it will come with the car, just haven't gotten a chance to have it fitted. Oh, and you have to slam the glovebox to close it. Other than that, that's all I can think of.This really is a beautiful car, and the best looking body style of all Volvo's in my opinion. The reserve has been set way below what I have in the car. Payment can be made via cash, or check (however, checks must clear before car leaves). Cash preferred. Clear Title. $500 deposit due within 3 days of auction close. However, if the car can be picked up within seven days after auction close, no deposit necessary!
