Up for auction is used but fully functional 1998 Chrysler Sebring Convertible car, two-door with gold body and tan top and soft tan/beige interior. I am not a car exprert or mechanic, but will try to describe the car as best I can. Comes also with Schumacher 6-Amp battery charger, jumper cables and convertible top boot cover. The car comes with a fresh new battery installed, however the alternator will have to be replaced(on a full charge with included battery charger, the car can drive smoothly from santa monica to malibu and back at daytime, as I have tested). The starter had a problem with its internal pin, but was fixed and is fully functional( although it is now held togeather well with duct tape and full replacement of starter is recommended, bit NOT necessary as it functions perfectly as it is) Car has dents and scratches, a few scratches having become rusted, as well as a couple deeper dents on the left side of the car. There are also scratches with paint on both sides of the bumper and side of the car, and a top piece of layer of varnish of the car is peeling at one spot towards the back of the car(not the paint itself). There are also a couple tape markings on the windows. Top functions perfectly and has wear on its sides, as well as a small gap between the rear window and the back of the top(through which water can enter if not sealed, the being currently covered with duct tape). Also, recently at times when the car changes shift(say, from parked to reverse, or reverse to drive) the car has a small pause at which point it seems to be in neutral, then it begins to function normally. This does not happen all of the time, however. Car is installed with a CD Player/Radio systrm that works great and has EXCELLENT bass! Comes with only two wheel covers (pictured). Six cylander, good mileage and Sold as is. Again, the car drives and operates well at the moment, and only needs its alternator replaced (which is relatively cheap, and treatable to an extent with the included charger without replacement), and, if desired, a new starter(cheap to do, but not necessary).
