This car has been restored in a stunning blue metallic base/clearcoat and powered by a built 406 cubic inch smallblock V8. This is a grass-roots musclecar and a true Super Sport. There are no creature comforts or frills, but plenty of horsepower and exhaust tone. I also was to clarify this is a TRUE SS "138" Super Sport car. The exterior presents an exceptional finish and body throughout. The chrome work shows well as does the Super Sport specific trim. 327 badges understate the increased performance of this Nova. This is a real SS "138" Nova. The suspension has been lowered 2-inches front to back. The rolling stock features factory 14-inch Rally Wheels wrapped in raised white-letter radials sized at 235/60R14s in the rear & 185/70R14s up front. Stopping duties are courtesy of 4-wheel drum brakes and steering is taken care of manually. Wheel well moulding and lower body trim helps accentuate the body lines. Subtle touches include a flush-mounted Coachworks billet aircraft aluminum fuel fill and jeweled tail lights. Under the hood is a highly detailed engine compartment, restored in body color and fitted with a balanced & blue-printed 406 cubic inch smallblock V8. Breathing modifications include Brodix aluminum heads fed by an Edelbrock RPM air gap intake & 4bbl. carburetor. Exhaust gases are expelled through a custom header dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. Scorpion Roller Rockers are paired with Rhoades lifters & a high performance Comp Cam. This engine combination has been dyno-verified at 370+ wheel horsepower. The undercarriage features uni-body stiffening braces along with a stout built 10-bolt 3.36 posi-traction rear end & high capacity oil pan. The front end has been rebuilt as well. The exhaust system was replaced along with the fuel tank. The interior features custom upholstered bucket seating with matching rear upholstery. A factory center console wraps around the Hurst 4-speed shifted Saginaw 4-speed manual transmission. The correct door panels, headliner, and matching dash are in excellent condition. The rubber weatherstrip seals have been replaced throughout. The dash features a column-mounted 10K Sun tachometer along with the original speedometer cluster. A Grant GT wood steering wheel sits atop the column. Under-dash oil & temperature gauges monitor the engine vitals. The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with a rear-mounted battery along with the correct mat & finish. Texas Motor Toys' showroom is the location for the majority of our photos. Enjoy the remaining photos and again feel free to contact myself, Sam, at 972-748-6389 or our office at 972-563-3344 with any questions. The inner fenderwells are beautifully restored and detailed as is the core support & radiator.
