It was repainted a few years ago in what appears to be the original green. The paint does have a few flaws showing but is still very presentable. It does not appear to have been a rusty car as I do not see patches on any of the inner panels I can see. There are a few small spots on the underside that have been repaired (see pics). Trunk is solid including the spare tire well. Rockers and wheelwells look solid. The car has a hole cut in the hood below the Marines sticker due to a non-working hood release cable. I would guess a new hood would be easier than repairing the current hood. He took the car to a repair shop on 11/21/2012 and had the valves adjusted and the fuel injection setup. During that service it was recommended that the front pads and rotors be replaced soon as well as the front ball joints and a clutch fluid flush. Interior is nice looking and functional. The dash pad has a dash topper installed over the original dash. All gauges seem to work fine with the exception of the fuel gauge which works but does bounce around occasionally. Glass is good and functional. Excellent Pirelli tires on original rims. Original California blue plate car. Clutch feels good and the car shifts fine. Runs and drives good. Starts right up with no smoke or unusual noises. Cruises down the freeway just fine. As with the majority of the classic cars I sell, true miles unknown.
