Vehicle Detail

CONDITION: Exterior: Body is in good condition. Some rusting starting to appear in the engine compartment (very minor) There is an 11" scratch in the paint along the top of the driver's side front fender. There is a 5" scratch along the hood at the windshield. Single incident caused both scratches. The clear coat has spidered on the trunk lid. Something that happened right after it was painted, and never repaired by the painters. Interior: Good shape. Drivers side seat belt retractor sticks sometimes. Heater is stuck on. Dash panel lights don't work for some reason (not fuse). Engine: 440 HO police. Rebuilt at about 120k. Still could use some work. If it sits for a few days, the carb. drys out. (Carter ThermoQuad). Transmission: A727 automatic. Has two leaks. One from the pan, and the other from where the speedo cable enters the transmission. Tires, brakes, exhaust, spark plugs, wires, are brand new. FEATURES: One of the last big block police motors. See the pictures for more. Note the door star has been removed. HISTORY: This vehicle started life as a Viginia State Trooper car. It was sold to a private party when retired. It was sold again to a private party, and they determined that it may have been in an accident at some point, as it appears the front body panels were replaced. Also the motor had been rebuilt, but not professionally. I bought it in 2005ish, and had the body stripped to the metal, straightened, primed and painted by a local hot rod shop. They also took the engine apart, and replaced all the gaskets. They installed all the equipment in the pictures, to my specs. for historic accuracy with the Department it was meant to represent. SHIPPING AND PAYMENT: No shipping is offered. Payment is cash, PayPal. Selling because it needs more TLC than I can give it.
