1977 Pontiac LeMans Rust free CA car purchased new at John Hine Pontiac in San Diego. Runs and drives but please read complete ad text engine needs work. Blue with blue interior, V6 auto, tilt wheel, A/C with factory RTS suspension and 15" Rally wheels. All stock and unmolested other than the aftermarket radio. One repaint that's slightly more silver/blue than the original color. Still has original catalytic converter and exhaust system. Very clean interior and dash. nice chrome and trim. Last year of the classic full size LeMans. A very original and well preserved car. I bought this car with plans on a 400ci V8 engine swap but now need to sell due to lack of time and funds. Clean CA title with registration fee's paid but will not pass smog with bad motor. The Lemans will be sold with a signed title and bill of sale. Now for the Bad News The original 3.8L Buick V6 engine has a death rattle in the bottom end. It does run and drive but the motor sounds terrible. Numerious upgrades were performed on the motor right before the bottom end let loose (i.e. new radiator, carb, timing chain and water pump). The LeMans will run enough to load onto a transporter but will need a new or rebuilt motor to be a driver. The transmission shifts fine and appears to be solid. Thank You!
