1992 Dodge Ram 250 8510 GVWR package 5.9L Cummins Diesel 4x4 LE Club Cab Long Bed (Extended Cab) This is a true rare find. This truck was always a California Truck owned by the same family. Miles are Actual Miles. We purchased the truck from our CPA. This was his late father’s truck that passed away recently. His father used the truck primarily to move his horses around and “tool around town.” He was a truck driver by trade so he of course outfitted his truck with a CB radio, and roof mounted antenna (we have two antennas). The license plate frames also say “Peterbuilt. ” He always maintained the truck and took care of it as one should. He had not been driving it in his past few years so it sat a bit. Upon purchase we promised the truck would go to a good home since it has sentimental value. We thoroughly went through the truck and repaired or replaced anything needing attention or maintenance. Below I will list all new or repaired items: New Brake Booster New Battery Terminals New Interstate Battery All New engine and transmission mounts Turned front rotors Installed new rear brake shoes (these are floating axles so you know what a pain it is to change) New Serpentine Belt Retro Fit the AC system from R12 to R134 including complete EVAC and flush of old Freon and Oil All New valve cover gaskets New thermostat New Sway bar end link bushings Transmission Service (Change Fluid) New Headliner (these old trucks always sag) Repaired driver side seat bottom bolster New right rear axle seal Two new rear tailights (old one had a crack and hole) Major Repairs Before we purchased the truck Back in 2002 the transmission was completely rebuilt at 158,220 miles at a cost of $3089 (we have receipts) We also have original owners manual, and Casette from Dealer. I was also told that the differentials were serviced but I don’t have receipts. There are silicone remnants on both front and rear units. (please see pictures) Cosmetically the truck is really nice and shows well. It does have a few spots on both driver and passenger door where the clear coat is fading (see pics). The entire truck was repainted years ago and more recently the bed of the truck was repainted about 5-7 years ago simply because there were scratches and he wanted his truck to look nice. There is a spray in bedliner and the bed does have small small dings and dents from wear and tear. The rims are aluminum Mickey Thompsons on Radial Tires. Some Noted Defects: The grill has some spots where the chrome is peeling off, the front bumper is pitted and shows small amount of surface rust. The driver side mirror is cracked There are aftermarket gauges for boost and EGT along with Oil Temp, the Boost gauge is the only one working presently. The cruise control does work The side mouldings are showing signs of the clear peeling off We are a small family owned and operated car dealership since 2002.
