This was originally a 1974 318 Barracuda. I replaced the 318 with a 440 6-Pack. I replaced the 74 Grill and rear with new 1970 grill and rear plate I repaced the 74 fog light /turn signals with the grill mounted turn signals. I replaced the rear lights with 1970 lights. I cut and moved both the front and rear bumpers in several inches to fit the grill and rear plate and rewelded them. I replaced the 74 rear bumper with a 70 rear bumper. I added a rear spoiler. I put in new dual exhaust and the cuda 3 inch rectangular tips and the rear twin valance. I reupholsterd the front and rear seats and put in new carpeting(which I haven't gluded down). I put in new floor pans and cut out the rust under the rear seat and welded in new sheet metal. I installed a pistol grip shifter. I replaced the plain 318 hood with a fiberglass hood with simulated air scoops. I put in a new 440 radiator, a new gas tank, fuel pump and lines and had the carbs and the starter rebuilt all in Jan 2013. It runs great. I put in new leaf springs. The brakes, lights, gauges all work. It has a CD player and 4 new speakers. The paint job is new and shiny but not show room quality since I didn't sand and prep that well near the bottom of both doors(see photos of lower doors). I put on new 440 decals and emblems. The tires and wheels are in good condition. What does it need? It needs a new top(top is okay) and a new trunk floor and it has rust in the frame. Right now it's a great car to drive and gets attention but it still needs to be restored if you want a show car. I'm not into show cars I just like to drive muscle cars.
