Up for auction is a 1948 Chevy truck. model is 3100, has the 5 window cab, short bed. Everything is here right down to the stock radio. Very slight minor dents here and there on the body. The only rust issue here is the drivers side floor, where there is rust threw. The rest is just surface rust. Cab corners are good!, tailgate is good. One of the front windows is bad...all other glass is good. Rear tail light is there, as are the front driving lights in the grill, still has the license plate mounting frames, both front and rear bumpers. Body work has been started, truck was partially dismantled for this, but has been put back together for this sale. I searched for years for a clean truck to start with, and this is it. Priorities have changed and I now need the room this truck is using up. I do have a reasonable reserve on the truck, or you can take advantage of the good buy it now price! You can arrange with me to pick it up here yourself, or I will help your choice of shipper as much as I can. Shipping cost is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I have had questions about the frame.....It is good!, This is a unmolested truck. Plain stock/original. I have done work to it since the photo's shown. The interior now has no upholstry fabric, the seat has been stripped/cleaned down to just clean springs. Most of the passenger side of the truck has been sanded and is now in primer. I love this truck and it is hard to let go...... It is for sale locally, if sold locally the auction will end early. "Buy it now" button was put on at the beginning of the auction, but dissappears upon first bid, that price was $3500. Sorry for any confusion on that part.
