Vehicle Detail
Great 2002 BMW 530i with low mileage. This is one of the most desirable executive sedans with a great balance of sportiness and luxurious ride. NON-smoker, no children, no pets, doctor driven. I am the “old man” driver, my wife is the crazy speedster. New front breaks and 90K tune up performed in April 2012, and still 3 green bars before next scheduled tune up. Nothing rattles, no buttons missing, everything works as expected except the headlight washers. Never bother to get them fixed after I bought the car in 2007. The car runs as well as it did when I bought it with 40K on it 6 years ago. If it needed something, I took it in to get fixed, which was not very often, but it was always taken in for scheduled maintenance even if nothing was wrong. I am the 3rd owner and it has been gently driven. It does not have the sport package, nor the stick, so when I need to get the sporting on, I take out my wife's Porsche. This BMW has classic styling and good fuel economy and I average 19 mpg City/Hwy combined. Living in San Francisco, there is bumper rash on the front and rear bumpers that is hard to see in photos. If you need close up photos let me know. Overall the body is in good condition with some minor paint chips, several on the hood, to be expected for a daily driver. The body work is in good shape with minor door dings here and there. Everything works including the instrument cluster which was replaced once. All the pixels light up in the dash, but half are "dim" but readable, occasionally they will all beam bright, so there may be a bad connection, but not worth replacing it again for $2000. The leather interior is in very good condition without rips or stains. Floor mats have been shampooed but should be replaced in the front. KBB private sale price for Good condition is $8000. Willing to let it go for $6500 Buy It Now price (considering that it needs an oil pan gasket replacement ($425 at local shop). Have purchased a new car and will no longer be needing a 3rd car. This car is listed locally and the auction can end at any time. If you are interested, $6500, and its yours AS IS. $500 non-refundable down payment required within 24 hours of close of auction. NO Warranty. SOLD AS IS. Email me with questions. Happy bidding and thanks for looking.
