Up for auction AS-IS and WHERE-IS is a 2001 Cadillac DeVille DTS with 4.6L V8 Northstar engine. It is a beautiful car with very nice pearl white paint, polished chrome factory rims, leather interior, and Bose premium sound system. The air conditioning works good. The tires have approximately 60 to 70% of the original tread still left. It would be a great car for a do-it-yourself mechanic if you had an engine from another car or a salvage yard that you could put in it. It needs an engine replacement or rebuild. The car starts but it is not roadworthy and will need to be picked up locally and trailered or towed by the winning bidder. The transmission shifts hard and will need work too. A part for the transmission was purchased based on the recommendations of a mechanic and is included with the car. It was being driven regularly until it started having engine problems last fall. I have been told the 8th digit in the VIN is a 9 which tells you what engine should work in this car if you have one you would want to install but it is your responsibility to verify that information with a dealer or salvage yard. It is a very nice car on the outside, and the inside is also in good condition as can be seen in the pictures. Please ask any questions through eBay messaging prior to bidding.
