THE HISTORY The Mercedes SL500R has only 50,335 miles on it... that is only an average of 5k miles per year of driving which is one third of the normal 15k/yr most people do !!! The VIN is WDBSK75F03F036280. It was assembled in MB's Bremen plant in Germany and imported into the USA in November 2002. It was sold Brand New by Mercedes Benz of Boston in Boston MA on December 31st of 2002 with just 26 miles on the odometer on a 36 month lease. In late November of 2005 and with just 21,480 miles on the odometer, this original owner lease end turned in this SL500R to Mercedes Benz Credit. Mercedes Benz of Boston put this vehicle into their service department for the Mercedes Benz Starmark CPO Warranty inspection, which it passed, and it was granted the 6 year 100k mile certified warranty. Mercedes Benz of Boston put this vehicle out for retail sale at their dealership and on January 3rd of 2006 with just 21,540 miles on the odometer it found it's new owner. This second owner lived in Boca Raton Florida so this SL500R began being enjoyed in the beautiful Florida sunshine. It was kept serviced at MB of Pompano Beach. In late January of 2013 and with 50,067 miles on the odometer, this SL500R was traded in at Braman BMW in Palm Beach Florida on a brand new 650i they had for sale. I was offered the oppurtunity to purchase this SL500R from Braman BMW, which I did, and I am proud to now offer this SL500R for sale here on eBay. THE CONDITION The overall exterior condition of the vehicle is very good. The vehicle looks absolutly great for its age and mileage although some very minor surface scuffs/scratches are evident here and there. The paint is deep and glossy. The interior shows very little wear. The leather looks very clean and is free of any tears or fade. The carpeting does not have any rips or tears. The dash and door panels are in good shape without any damages. Some of the rims have some minor curb rash. The tires on this Mercedes are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S P255/40ZR18 95Y's and P285/35ZR18 97Y's with about 50% tread life left. I have three keys (two master keys and one keyless go wallet card), the 6cd cartridge, the SouthEast Nav disc, the owners manuals with the original window sticker, the Motorola V60 cellular phone, the tire inflator kit, the removeable windscreen, the removeable cup insert, and the all-season rubber floormats.
