This is a very Rare 1956 GMC Suburban Carrier Gmc's version of the Cameo It was a Factory V/8 with the hydra-matic transmission. the truck was taken apart and was being restored about 30 years ago but the owner passed on. I bought it from the family about 3 years ago 4th pic is how I got the truck,but did not have the room to keep it and had to sell. It came up 4-sale a few months ago and I was able to buy it back.it was still the same as when I frist got it. I assembled the bed and put it on the truck so buyer's could see what it really is. The inside of the truck was painted and still has some of the tape on it from 30yrs ago. the wiring is all still intact and what appears to be missing on the dash is just pushed back from when it was painted. it also has the rare clock.There is some rust on the inside of both the lower hinge pockets and the bottom of the drivers door, the driver step may need to be replaced. there is also rust on the inner bed sides under the fiberglass and where the angle strips attach.aslo both of the front fenders have a spot on the top of the fender see pic. The fiberglass side are nice. Parts that I know are missing The motor, automatic trans is here, door glass, tailgate recoilers and cables, spare tire well, bumperetts. Two of the front bed peices of mouldings are broke but I think they can be repaired. Bed top rails are here and also the peice that is not on the lower bed front.Truck also comes with some generic parts not shown in pics [gas tank,door hardware,cab stainless] some of the parts that are with the truck need to be fixed or replaced they are just what came with the truck. I will not sell parts!
