Offered here is a 1962 Buick Skylark convertible. I'm listing this car for the family of a recently departed car collector friend. Its a 2 owner car which is still mostly original except for a circa 1980 repaint. There is some very minor paint crazing on the hood but the black paint is clear and very shiny. The chrome and pot metal trim, engine compartment and interior are in excellent condition. Always garaged. The valve covers and air cleaner have been chrome plated. It has the 215 cu. in. aluminum V-8 with automatic transmission, power steering and power top. Approximately 78K miles. Recent major servicing includes complete tune-up, water pump, brake work and heater core. I replaced the vent window weatherstrips and the plastic chrome arm rest bases a few years ago. Like new radial tires. Has not been used much for the past several years but has been started regularly. The color combination of black with a red interior is striking. I don't have pictures with the top up but its black and in excellent condition. A really nimble handling and peppy driver. Quite rare in this mostly unrestored excellent original condition.
