1967 Chevelle 2 Door 327 CI V-8 This fine example of a 1967 Chevelle has been a Florida car most of  it's life. Originally equipped with a 6 cylinder, this one has  been upgraded to a very powerful 327 V-8 coupled to a TH400  automatic with a Hurst shifter. New Super Sport Hood with Louvers. The SS trim was applied to the entire car. The bumpers are new, as is  most of the trim. The dual exhaust system is also new, and has a very  pleasant rumble. Enough to satisfy the ear without attracting law  enforcement. The lower body side moldings look just fine in person, something about the  digital photo.... Nice Ralleye wheels all around with tires that have only  a few hundred miles on them. Any way you look at it, this piece of history will attract attention by both  its looks and its sound. Very amazing car to drive! There is a large 5 way amplifier , a subwoofer and 2 speakers in the rear.  Two more speakers in the new aftermarket front kick panels. Also a nice new  radio with USB and AUX inputs. Plenty of $ spent on the system.   Needs fine tuning to make it truly perform. The radio is new, the gauges are in nice shape and all work fine, there is no  heater, the controls are not connected to anything. The dashboard was  removed and power-coated black. All new chrome trim was installed. Looks  like a new car! The brand new front windshield makes for a nice bright, clear view across the  new louvered hood and new front bumper. This a a very nice example of a 67 Chevelle. Many new parts have been  installed. The paint job has never been in the weather, the car is garage  kept and rarely driven. Now we are moving and loosing the garage, so there  is no place to keep her any more... There are a few items that need to be completed. Seat belts need to be  reinstalled. There is a cover for the shifter that can be installed.   The carpet in the trunk needs to be finished. (Carpet included) But for the most part, it's all been done. The entire interior has new vinyl from Ausley (along with many other things)  including the arm rests, door and window regulators, and sill plates. The entire SS dash trim has been installed. the lenses are all bright and  clear. Wipers are a little slow, but functional. The engine was freshly done when we acquired the car. We were told it  is an 11:1 compression, solid lifter with 1.6 ratio rocker arms. While it  runs and sounds very strong, we have not practical way of identifhying  everything inside the engine. The numbers on the block confirm the 327 ci  displacement. The headers are in great shape, appearing to be equal length  tubes. The dual exhaust system quiets things to a respectable rumple. The battery is relatively new, from Advanced. The MSD ignition system provides an awesome amount of spark, the plug wires  were new a year ago. And Edelbrock carb sits on top of the Edelbrock intake  manifold. The front end was gone through, with a new steering box and upper ball joints  replaced, then all aligned. Steers smooth and straight. A pair of electric fans supply extra cooling if needed. The hood is new, complete with insulating inserts!
