Vehicle Detail
1969 Camaro Indy Pace Car Convertible Z-11 coded vehicle 350/300 hp matching numbers motor. Pwr steering and brakes. Original 4 speed transmission. Original 12 bolt multi leaf rear/4.11 gears Working cowl induction hood/system Extensive frame on restoration completed by owner. Paint is approximately 5 years old and is a solid 9 out of 10. Convertible top is also 5 years old and has never and I mean never been put down. I did not want to crease the back window. Completely new fuel system: tank, sending unit, lines, pump with all correct rubber lines and colored clamps. Carb rebuilt to factory specs and correct paint tint. Completely new brake system: calipers, brake cylinders, rotors, bearings, seals, spring kits, brake booster with correct gold iridite, master cylinder, proportioning valve, etc. Front suspension: inner and outer tie rod ends, idler arm, pitman arm, upper and lower ball joints, shocks, etc. Rear suspension: shocks, leaf perches, leaf shackles, etc. New full factory exhaust system. Extensive under hood restoration. Entire interior replaced: Seats (frt and reat) door panels, carpeting, etc. Console gauge package-all working and new. All gauges work. In dash AC tach., etc. New factory steering wheel and emblem installed. Installed Pace Car lettering approximately one year ago. Not the cheap lettering but as close to factory as possible (lettering was over $300.) Installed over the factory pinstripes as some dealers back in 69 did. Factory restored rally wheels with all caps and rings. Tires have less than 500 miles on them. Car is in garage and under cover 98% of the time. Extremely clean Pace Car. Have all part receipts. Pretty thick folder. Needs to have the horn wiring hooked up on steering column. Could use front end alignment as i aligned myslef in the garage but does drive very straight down the road.
