I am selling my 1984 380SL!!! The man that I bought it from had owned it since 1987, I bought the car in 2012 it has been in Florida and Georgia all its life. It was garaged until about a year ago. The car is in good condition overall. The paint is original and could use a good detailing, it does not need new paint, it is very presentable as is. There are some minor rust spots on the inside edge of the trunk and along the edge of the gas filler, they show in the photos, (the stuff in the trunk does not go with the car). The Interior has sheepskin covers $600.00, under them the leather appears very dirty with some mildew, will need to be replace. The dash is cracked. Mechanically the car runs and drives well, the AC blows cold and all gauges appear to work as do the power windows. The soft top is ok but the hard top is great, it comes with a rack on wheels for storage $150.00 rack. This is a good opportunity to buy a classic SL at a very low price.
