Vehicle Detail
2002 VOLVO S60 2.4 A SR 5 cylinder 2.4 Litre Engine runs excellent. Oil level is good. Automatic Transmission shifts perfectly. Fluid at proper level and looks good. LOOK at the pictures below to see the condition of the body!! The power windows, locks power driver seat all work. Passenger seat is manual. The sunroof pops up but seems like something blocking it from sliding back. The stereo works fine and sounds great. All instrumentation works fine. Glass appears to be free from any nicks, cracks or chips. Coolant, power steering, brake fluid levels are good and look fine. Alternator, battery and charging system are working well. Tires are very good all around, about %60 except I would have the right front tire replaced at your earliest convenience, maybe %20 tread left. Spare tire and accessories in the trunk. Shocks and struts are good. Axles, ball joints, tie rods, motor mounts are good. Sometimes going over a bumpy road there is a little noise from the right side shock mount. Heat works excellent! A/C blows cold! No check engine or warning lights on. Service interval due (on dash display). Vehicle drives excellent! The exhaust is good. This car is ready for a long trip without any issues but i would have the tire replaced (we have a local shop that can put a new or used tire on for you inexpensively at your cost). I would also have the oil changed, it was last changed several months ago. It seems the oil cap gasket is leaking a little oil (very common on 93+ volvo 850, S60, S70 etc...). It costs a few dollars for a new one (easy do it yourself fix). The gas door is broken- not bad though- it is in the trunk. It looks like there is a pin that holds the hinge that is broken. All original books and manuals, window sticker with the car. Comes with 1 keyfob and 2 original keys. Inside front seat bottoms have some sun damage. The trunk lid sometimes does not latch (the latch itself will not 'lock') Left front fender has some paint peelint near the headlight. Touch-up paint should fix that easily. There are some service records with the vehicle. Despite the vehicle having high mileage, it appears it was maintained. NON SMOKING AND NO PET OWNER. FEMALE OWNER. NO RESERVE - 21 / 28 MPG!! ??PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU HAVE ANY BEFORE BIDDING!!! These are known to be very dependable cars and would make someone a great daily driver. Please look at all the pictures and please ask questions and i'll get back to you as soon as possible. All items are sold as is, where is. Non-refundable deposit by PayPal due in 24 hours. The balance in cash and pickup of vehicle is expected within 7 days of auction end. Buyer is responsible for all arrangements and shipping costs { if shipping is the way you go } but i am willing to work with your shipper for pickup of vehicle. The seller shall not be responsible for correctness of description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. Any and all descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. Your bid is binding under applicable statute. The buyer assumes all responsibility for all defects known and unknown. The seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs, defects or damages pre-existing or otherwise regardless of any oral or written statements about the vehicle. The buyer has no right of rescission and is not entitled to any compensation for known or unknown, or disclosed, or undisclosed damage or repairs. Do not bid if you are not prepared to conclude your purchase. All information and comments contained within the vehicle listings are deemed reliable, but are not guaranteed. We try very hard to make sure they are as accurate as possible. If an option or feature is not listed in the ad or you do not see it in the pictures, then the vehicle most likely does not have that option or feature. We do not want you to be unhappy with your purchase but at the same time you have to understand what "AS-IS" means. It means sold without warranty - no exceptions. Most cars are sold at wholesale prices, many way below book prices. Therefore there is minimum profit at best and as such we can not afford to warranty the vehicle as if you had purchased it off a retail lot at full list price. Remember many of these cars are near a decade old or many have in excess of 100,000 miles so they may be new to you but that doesn’t change the fact that they are used cars and repairs can be needed at any time regardless of how short a time period you have owned the car. While we try to service any known defects it is still possible for used vehicles to need service or repairs the first days or weeks of ownership. All cars are used machines and used machines need general repairs on a regular basis many times without prior warning. This is especially true for name brand highline & exotic vehicles that have more elaborate features and systems. Also repairs are more common on say a 10 year old model car as opposed to a 2 or 3 year old model car since they cost significantly less than a newer car. Obviously the older the car the more possible this is of happening. What you have just read is basically common sense, but there are some people who don’t understand this so this is why we have spelled it out in plain English. GOOD LUCK !!
