This car handles on rails and will pin you to your seat under acceleration. Make no mistake about it: motoring is in Lotus' DNA. This Elise is a very nice car. It has always been driven sparingly and only on nice days. It has never been tracked or autocrossed. The only negative on the car is that there is a scrape (you can see it in the photos) where the front license plate mounts from a curbstone. It is hardly noticeable unless you are looking for it. Lotus has stopped making the Elise and these cars are getting rarer and appreciating in value. 2005 was the first year for the US market Elise and it is the best. Later cars have drive-by-wire steering and lose the feel of the road. This one has 22k miles on it and has never been tracked. This car turns heads everywhere it goes. This Elise has an upgraded exhaust and intake that make the car even faster. They also sound awesome. The car has the touring package which adds leather seats.
