Vehicle Detail
1970 Blown Pro street Chevy Nova SS I have up for sale my built 70 Chevy Nova SS. The car itself was re-done in 2005 by a guy from Oak grove. Motor was originally a 350, but was sent off to Gary Hedden at Magnum Superchargers in 2007 and he completely overhauled everything (I have receipts). The rest of drivetrain was done by cheney performance in 2007. A lot of car for the money, very fun to drive!! It is an SS, numbers check out, you can check for yourself before purchase if you'd like. I have had lots on interest on the car, but no one has come through with the serious cash. First person with the cash or a down payment owns it. Will not hold without down payment. Serious seller looking for only serious buyers. Will not take less than 14,999, so don't even bother offering. I know what I have. With that being said, enjoy the specs: Bored out to a 355, magnum (weiand) 6-71 blower, weiand blower intake, Full port & polish heads w/ competition 3 angle valve job, stainless valves, aluminum roller rockers, all moly rings, all brand name bearings, crank and pistons, etc. Melling HV oil pump, custom made belt guard to fit 3" belt. Its got 2 holley 600's with custom made linkage, holley high volume electric fuel pump, AN braided fuel lines, RCI fuel cell, etc. The motor has less than 750 miles on it since it was re-done in 2007. And not a single one of those miles are track miles, all of them are from driving to local car shows & car craft summer nationals. It was also featured in 2 CarCraft magazines and on their webiste a couple times. 582hp the way it is set up now (underdriven) on pump gas. Overdriven (pulley swap) on 110 it is easily capable of 650+hp (per Gary hedden @ magnum). I have dyno sheets of 2007 work as well (with mild pulley setup). Motor is built to run on Premium or race gas. Gary hedden specializes in building radical pump gas motors for a great mix of streetability and performance. http://www.magnumsuperchargers.com/ Transmission is a built TH350 street/strip, stage 2 kit, w/manual valve body, built by Cheney performance 3000 RPM hughes stall & B&M cooler. Rear end is a narrowed ford 9" 3.89 richmonds & aluminum mini spool 4 degree negative pinion angle and heavy duty yolk & U joints. Also done by Cheney performance. Chassis has weld in performance subframe connectors 2" front lowering springs Full length traction bars Coil over shocks & mono leaf rear springs. Stainless steel custom dash Autometer sport comp gauges, over $1,000 just in gauges. Oversized 31" all aluminum radiator (4-core) Dual flex cool fans rated at 2500cfm each Holley long tube headers 3" full exhaust w/ H-pipe and Flowmaster 50's (Sounds AWESOME!) Full MSD ignition system Full 8 point roll cage RCI racing seats & 5 point harnesses -also has original back seat that is capable of seating 2 w/belts if nimble enough to navigate roll cage to get in, i've had two 250 pound friends fit in the back, very nice to have useable rear seat with the safety and strength of a cage!! Or get rid of seat to lose weight, your choice. RCI 15 gallon cell w/90 ohm sender Performance AN lines Holley High flow electric fuel pump Dual Holley 600's Custom aluminum Carb Spacer ("Magnum superchargers") Custom made one-off throttle linkage B&M ratchet shifter Drag Lite aluminum rims all around Kuhmo skinnies on the front BF goodrich 11" street tires on the rear, with good tread. 750 miles since motor, trans and rear were built up (2007). 2100 miles since car has been done (2005). I have put 350 miles on the car since I have owned it with no issues. This car is capable of running high 10's- low 11's at the track with slicks and good driver, but also has street manners. Its a driver, not 100% perfect show quality. The paint job/body work is older- has scratches/imperfections, looks good until you get close. Their is a little bit of bondo in a few spots, not awful, but not perfect. The frame/chassis are clean- Absolutely no rust or repairs. Floor pans are also very nice w/no rust/repairs. Inner quarters and one fender has some rust, but its not visible without close inspection. Everything else is solid. Hagerty appraised value at $20,000 Five months ago (mandatory insurance appraisal before they would allow me to insure through them). I am realistically hoping to get 17-18, but the least I will sell for is 14,999. Don't even bother contact me with lower offers. We both know what the car is worth. Car could use a few small things: blinkers aren't hooked up and a few of the gauges still need to be hooked up(Trans temp & fuel, fuel cell does have correct sender, just isn't wired up to gauge yet). Great car to get in and drive, starts every time! I have too many cars, need to get some garage space back and have a project & bills I could use the money on. If i had more space I would not sell it. Clean title in hand. No surprises for the buyer, i'm an honest seller. $500 non-refundable down payment is due at auction end or for me to hold the car for you, remaining balance is due at or before pick up. I can help arrange a tow at your expense. Please message, call or text Luke 763-516-5082 if you have questions. If no answer make sure to leave a voicemail or I wont call back.
