1972 HONDA CL350 SCRAMBLER 2900 ORIGINAL MILES. The second owner has owned this bike since Aug 1978; it has been well maintained and stored. Due to being in storage and not ridden in many years the bike has been completely serviced by Phil’s Cycle the Honda Doctor. MECHANICAL: The engine and transmission services performed. The carbs were cleaned, rebuilt and synched, air filters cleaned and inspected. The points were adjusted and cleaned (like new), the timing was set and the valves were adjusted. The fuel tank is clean with no rust or cream, the petcock was cleaned and has new rubber gaskets. The right clutch cover was removed to inspect the clutch (excellent), the clutch cover was refinished with a new gasket installed. A new battery was installed, and all the lights, signals and electric start were inspected and are working great. The front and rear breaks inspected (90%), the Chain and tires are also excellent. The oil was changed to complete the service. The bike runs awesome and is ready for summer. COZMETICS: The bike was completely detailed. Both fenders were taken off, cleaned underneath and coated (see pics). The exhaust taken apart and cleaned there is no rust or holes and the chrome is real nice. The front forks were stripped and polished, the front brake controls and drum brace were removed and cleaned. The rest of the bike cleaned, detailed and polished. The paint very nice original and the bike shows very well (only a few small chips in the tank and side cover, see pics). The seat is very clean no rips or tears and has the original owner’s manual and holder underneath. In all the chrome is very nice (see pics). The blemishes being the front fender, carb tops, left and right upper engine covers have light pitting. The rear rim has no pitting just a few small scratches on the side, the front rim has no pitting but has a 3” spot shown in pics. The handle bars have a dent in the top cross bar. In all the entire bike is very clean all original bike with 2900 miles.
