Vehicle Detail

History: This rare rotisserie nut & bolt restored 1964 Falcon Futura had approximately 68,000 miles before restoration. The Falcon has been driven about 8,000 miles since restoration and is well sorted out; everything on the car works perfectly, no disappointments. This superb ‘64 Falcon Future lived its entire life in Arizona and was completely rust free! Originally a 6cyl/automatic it was well cared for, never any accidents and absolutely no rust ever. Highlights: The vehicle was completely disassembled to its unibody shell and it’s amazingly straight body was made perfect. Excellent door, trunk and fender gaps made this job easy. When it started to go back together only the best quality fasteners and components were used. A complete Mustang ll suspension kit from Rod & Custom was used so the shock towers could be removed to accept the tall deck 351 Windsor engine. The Mustang ll kit allowed for coilover suspension, tubular control arms, rack & pinion steering and front disc brakes. In addition to allowing the installation of a larger engine the kit provides significant upgrades, modernizing these three areas crucial to enhanced vehicle performance. The rest of the chassis is well sorted utilizing custom made frame connectors, transmission cross member and ladder bars supporting the 9” Ford rear axle utilizing the 4:11 Detroit Locker gears with Moser 31 spline axles and rear disc brakes. The complete underside is done in flat black Rustoleum. Power comes from a 0.030 overbore 351 Windsor using an Eagle steel crankshaft, Eagle H-beam connecting rods, Probe forged pistons, Pro Comp aluminum cylinder heads, Edelbrock intake manifold, complete Comp Cams solid lifter valvetrain, Demon 750-cfm carburetion and MSD ignition. Hedman full length headers with Flo-Pro mufflers and all 3” dual exhaust. The 5-Speed Tremec TKO-600 transmission utilizes a custom hydraulic clutch setup with a Center Force clutch and pressure plate and provides power to the 9” Ford via a custom built racing driveshaft with heavy duty U-joints. The Exterior is finished in base coat/clear coat Ford Sapphire Blue, all the moldings, grill, headlight bezels and trunk trim is powder coated metallic sliver. Fiberglass front & rear bumpers are finished in body color as well as the fiberglass Thunderbolt style teardrop hood. Billet Specialties GTX03 15X7 w/Michelin tires in front and GTX03 15X8 with Mickey Thompson ET Drag Radials in back. The white interior has custom stitched high-backed bucket seats with headrests as well as the custom made door panels, Auto Meter Pro-Comp gauges and custom finished speedometer face to match the Pro Comp gauges. A Billet Specialties steering wheel and Hurst shifter completes the interior.
