You are bidding on a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle True SS with a 454. This car was acquired from a very tedious older man; the car was in his possession for several years and was professionally redone. When we talk professional we mean as follows: frame off the body, all new body bushings, complete new front end, tie rods, ball joints, new exhaust system with aluminum coated headers, new steering box, new sway-bar bushings, if you can think of it - it has been replaced. Motor was totally redone; the original 1970 454 block was beyond repair so a new 1970 454 block was put into this car; so it has the right generation just a non-number matching block. Heads, steel crank and other usable components came from the original 454 are still in it. Pistons, cam bearings, and all other parts that could be replaced were replaced with new parts. Motor was balanced and blueprinted and it has mild cam. You will be amazed with the performance of this car. There was over $50,000 invested into this vehicle, the owner decided to build a house instead of looking at this car the rest of his life so I bought the car from him for the purpose of re-selling it. I strongly believe you will never find another car like this in your entire life. All instrument panels were completely redone even the analog clock works great, the factory tach does not flutter and works excellent. This car is in showroom shape and it drives, shifts and stops great. It has all four 1970 stock SS wheels on it; car has AC, power steering, & power disc brakes all from the factory. Body was originally from South Carolina, so all the original sheet metal is on the car and untouched.
