Vehicle Detail
I'm selling this for my father. I will try and give as much info as I can. Up for bid is a 1997 Jeep Wrangler in need of some work. The engine overheated about two months ago. To the best of my knowledge it starts up but doesn't run in any manner which would render it street worthy. The mileage listed was from this past August when it was inspected last. The battery is currently dead so I wasn't able to get a 100% accurate reading. The tires are almost brand new. I believe they were replace when it was inspected, so they were only driven on for a month or two. There seems to be an electrical problem somewhere which slowly drains the battery. If it sits for too long the battery will die. Also the guages die every once in awhile. Usually if you hit the dash they come back to life. The top is in pretty bad shape. The frame is in average shape for a 16 year old western PA jeep. The body isn't to bad except for some rust around the corners of the tailgate and the clearcoat is peeling from the hood. The interior is rough but intact. No problems that I have know with the Transmission or the transfer case. If you have any other question I will do my best to answer them. If you win this item you will need to set up arrangements to pick it up and to transfer the title. Like I said, I'm selling this for my father (who doesn't use computers) so everything will have to be set up through me or we can exchange phone numbers once the auction closes. He is home most days so it basically comes down to when you can pick it up. We live in about halfway between Pittsburgh and Erie and about 45 minutes from Youngstown, OH.
