1979 Ford Ranger 250 8 ft. bed Truck is From Northern California. I drove the Truck 3300 mile from Humboldt County to Jacksonville, Florida. This truck has a powerful motor, the wheels will burn rubber even at 60 miles an hour. that a 471 hp engine for you. There is light rust on the hood and top of cab as there should be for a truck of this age that has its original paint job. I have clear title. The chrome on the truck is in great shape. The interior: Bench seat is perfect condition. There is no radio. The dash has a cover and looks like it there to prevent further cracks. The doors need new seals. The Driver door panel needs new plastic clips. The inside driver's door handle needs to be replaced part of the "t" was broken off (handle still functions in its present condition). Tires are in great shape 85 percent tread remaining. Interior light cover is missing Head liner is starting to weather. The truck has a total of 169,000 mile driven. The original motor was replaced in 1993 at 111,000 miles. The newer motor only has 58,000 on it ( just broken in) This truck will make a sharp looking truck for those who are into restoration. The truck starts right up without the need to prime the pedal.The breaks work like a champ. I hauled a loaded truck bed and a loaded 6x12 trailer through the mountains all the way to Florida with no problems.
