Here is a very nice Suzuki GS 450E Cafe bike! it is and has been my daily transport for the past few months, i am selling for the sole reason of making room for a old moto guzzi. The bike Was sold at barnetts suzuki here in Raleigh NC in 1981 and sat in the original owners house up until last year. practically a brand new 30 year old bike! The bike needs nothing to be ridden daily. starts right up with the choke and runs perfectly with the choke off after about a minute of riding. No flat spots off idle and no funky idle speeds! it has just over 6000 original miles on it and surely has at least 50,000 left! since getting the bike about 5 months ago i have done the following..... -thoroughly rebuilt fuel system and rejetted to suit the 2-1 headers. (20 pilot jet-125 mains)-rebuilt brake system using new parts from the suzuki dealership.-2 oil changes using suzuki 10-40 and new filters-fork oil change to lubro-moly 15 wt synthetic-pulled chain and sprockets for a thorough cleaning lubed with bel ray-New tires ( shinkos )-new oem air filter-added clubman bars- removed gigantic gauge console in favor of tach only!-added del rin bar ends-removed wheels to powder coat and cleaned and greased hub bearings-new battery-new oem mikuni petcock-new plugs of course-removed shoe box size tail lights and mounted small led lights-stiffened front suspension slightly inside the fuel tank is absolutely perfect.the engine is clean and not leakythe frame is clean and has no rust anywherethe original seat is perfect, no imperfections of any kind any whereair box is in great original shape with no cracks or mods at allshifts through all 6 speeds perfectly, neutral is easy to select as it should be goes just over 100 mph so you can be cool and talk about the ton! comes with complete original toolkit and owners manualalso comes with a genuine suzuki workshop manual!!!!! Note...... i have all of the original parts to put the bike back to 100% stock, the bike was not permanently modified in any way. they will be included with the bike of course. the bike starts, stops, runs and handles better than it did when new. these bikes were notorious for flat spots in the power band due to epa tuning, i have fixed that! included in the pictures is a pic of what it looked like the day i got it.
