2001 SAAB 9-5 **ONE OWNER**WELL MAINTAINED** 4 cylinder 2.3 Litre Turbocharged Engine runs excellent. Automatic Transmission shifts perfectly. Fluid at proper level and looks good. LOOK at the pictures below to see how nice the body is!! The interior is excellent. Leather interior has been well kept. Front Heated seats work. Rear heated seats did not check. The power windows, sunroof, seats and locks all work. The stereo works fine. All instrumentation works fine. Glass appears to be free from any nicks, cracks or chips. Coolant level is good and looks fine. Serpentine belt looks fine, New upper radiator hose (just after we took pictures). Vacuum lines look good. Car was maintained at a SAAB dealer and another SAAB specialty shop. Alternator, battery and charging system are working well. The oil cap has a crack. It is seeping some oil- we will have that replaced for you before you get the car. Tires are very good all around. Recently replaced brake rotors and brake pads. Shocks and struts are good. Axles, ball joints, tie rods, motor mounts are good. Heat works excellent! Vehicle has no original books. The oil has been regularly changed every 3,000 miles. It was changed about 100 miles ago with LUBRO MOLY synthetic oil. No check engine or warning lights on the dash. Turbo works well, car does not consume or blow oil. THE INFO CLUSTER LOOKS EXCELLENT. No pixels appear to be out. If you know Saabs, MOST of these by this age the clusters are illegible. THIS vehicle was gone through by a european car specialist to assure it is as described and safe to drive... This car is ready for a long trip without any issues. NON SMOKING AND NO PET OWNER. SET OF FRONT WINTER TRAYS + CUP HOLDER IS INTACT AND WORKING. SET OF TWO KEYS WOOD GRAIN LOOKS GOOD- MISSING PIECE RIGHT OF THE GEAR SHIFTER THE INFO CLUSTER READS VERY WELL- ONSTAR TOO! All cars are used machines and used machines need general repairs on a regular basis many times without prior warning. This is especially true for name brand highline & exotic vehicles that have more elaborate features and systems. Also repairs are more common on say a 10 year old model car as opposed to a 2 or 3 year old model car since they cost significantly less than a newer car. Obviously the older the car the more possible this is of happening. What you have just read is basically common sense, but there are some people who don’t understand this so this is why we have spelled it out in plain English. GOOD LUCK !!
