This extremely rare UK spec RHD Morris Minor is a great survivor. I rescued it as a barn find earlier this year. It had been owned by a US serviceman who bought it and used it as his transport while stationed in the UK. While there he maintained it with the Morris Minor Centre. He brought it to the states with him when he returned. after a few years, he parked it inside and it sat for over 20 years until I bought it. After bringing it back home, my friend who runs a British Restoration shop did a comprehensive mechanical refurbishment to make it roadworthy again. The engine recieved a top end rebuilt along with the carb, distributor and other items. The brakes were completely rebuilt with all new stainless steel lines, rubber hoses, new wheel cylinders, shoes, pads, master cylinder and a full conversion to front disc brakes British Auto Parts. All the lights work, along with the gauges and other accessories. Even the semaphore turn signal indicators were serviced, and now pop right up and light up as well. It has new michelin tires on bugeye sprite wheels, however the original wheels and tires come with the car. Overall the cosmetics are mostly original, and I chose to keep them that way. I think the faded cracked paint is great patina and has a cool look. The interior is all original and still in good shape.
