WELCOME TO MY AUCTION. THIS MIGHT BE A BIT WINDED ON THE DESCRIPTION BUT IT IS NEEDED. I BOUGHT THIS JAG 15 MONTHS AGO AS A COMPLETED CHEVY CONVERSION THAT WAS DESCRIBED AS A DRIVER. THE CONVERSION WAS DONE BUT IT NEEDED TONS OF THE BUGS WORKED OUT THAT ONLY DRIVING COULD DO, HOWEVER WHEN I GOT THE CAR THE FUEL SYSTEM WAS BAD AND WAS NOT DISCLOSED TO ME. SO HERE GOES MY CURRENT DESCRIPTION AND WHAT I HAVE DONE TO THE CAR IN THE LAST 15 MONTHS. WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR IT HAD RECENT PAINT THAT I WOULD SAY WAS A GOOD JOB HOWEVER OVER THE PAST 15 MONTHS THERE WERE PAINT PREP ISSUES. THERE ARE SPOTS WHERE THE PAINT LETS GO FROM THE BODY YOU WILL SEE THIS IN PICS. ALL THE GLASS WAS TAKEN OUT OF THE CAR FOR PAINT ALL CHROME WAS PULLED AND NEW WINDSHIELD AND REAR GLASS GOT NEW SEALS. ALL THE GLASS IS GOOD. SINCE I HAVE HAD THE CAR I HAVE DRIVEN IT 20,000 MILES BASICALLY OVER A 10 MONTH PERIOD. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING IT DAILY 116 MILES 6 DAYS A WEEK. THE CAR IS NOW VERY RELIABLE. THE ENGINE IS A CHEVY 305 I WAS TOLD IT WAS A 350 BUT IT IS A 305 5.0 LITRE AND IT IS MATED TO A TH350 TRANNY. I WAS TOLD BOTH WERE REBUILT UNITS FOR THE CONVERSION. THE ENGINE AND TRANNY ARE GREAT 55PSI OIL PRESSURE USES NO OIL ON A 3000 MILE OIL CHANGE AND TRANNY SHIFTS GREAT. I DID UPGRADE THE INTAKE AND CARB TO EDELBROCK NEW UNITS. WHEN HAVING THE INTAKE OFF THE INTERNAL ENGINE WAS SUPER CLEAN SO I BELIEVE IT HAD BEEN REBUILT. THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF WHAT I HAVE DONE TO THE CAR IN NEW PARTS. THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. THERE IS NO BODY WORK THAT HAS EVER BEEN DONE TO FIX BODY DAMAGE OR RUST. IT JUST A REAL SOLID EXAMPLE OF AN EARLY XJS. NEW ALPINE CD STEREO WITH SATELITE RADIO RECEIVER ON DASH ALSO 4 NEW SPEAKERS BEHIND ORIGINAL SPEAKER GRILLS. I BELIEVE THERE IS THREE MONTHS OF SATELITE RADIO THAT IS PREPAID. THE PHOTO OF THE CAR WITHOUT THE REAREND IN IT IS JUST TO PROVE THAT IT HAS BEEN REMOVED AND THE WORK WAS DONE. ANYONE WHO KNOWS THESE CARS KNOWS THIS IS A DREADED JOB TO BE DONE. SO YOU NOW WONT HAVE TO DO IT. THIS WORK WAS PERFORMED A FEW MONTHS AGO AND HAS BEEN DRIVEN ABOUT 6000 MILES SINCE THEN. THE JAG RUNS GREAT , RUNS COOL, HAS ELECTRIC CORVETTE FAN FOR COOLING. HEATER WORKS GREAT AND AIR CONDITIONING ALSO WORKS GREAT. THE PREVIOUS OWNER ALS HAD THE SEATS REDONE IN VINYL AND THEY LOOK PRETTY GOOD... I AM SURE THERE ARE THINGS I HAVE FORGOTTEN SO ASK QUESTIONS. I AM ONLY SELLING THE CAR BECAUSE MY JOB LEAVES WITH NO MORE TIME FOR ANYTHING. I HAVE DECIDED I WANT TO BUY A NEW CAR.
