1949 Plymouth Deluxe sedan. This is a really nice example of a low mileage, original survivor. Original flat head 6,3spd, radio and heater which both work,and front visor. This is a local vehicle that was sold new at a Desoto/Plymouth dealer in Mechanicsburg Pa. That dealership is long gone,but i have the original key tag from the dealership. I bought this car from an elderly gentleman that owned the car for over 20 years. He knows the history of the car and who was the original owner of the car. This car is very solid, never any rust it is about as clean as it gets. When it was bought 20 years ago by the previous owner the original paint was faded so he had it painted in the original color which still looks great. He had the mechanics gone over, so it is very reliable, i drove the for over an hour and it just cruises down the road beautifully. The car has 5 new wide whites. The chrome is original, shows a small bit of pitting, and a couple of scratches but is pretty nice for a 60 year old car. The interior is original and is in nice shape, The dash is in beautiful shape,the original radio works. All the gauges work. The seats are nice, the back seat has a seat cover that was put on to protect the seat which was done years ago. The head liner is original and has some discoloration, which is expected for a car of this age. This is a car that you can take to shows, or cruises it is a real head turner.
