1987 Mercedes Benz 300 SDL, 6 cyl. diesel, Sedan, leather, 30+ MPG, automatic, rust free texas car. Our description of this classic car has a properly running diesel engine, we have performed the normal maintenance of an oil change and all filters (oil, fuel, air). The transmission shifts smooth and properly. The diesel fuel return lines have been replaced (new). No major leaks in engine or transmission, (only gasket seepage). The rear brakes have been replaced, including rotors (new). The exterior paint is faded in spots but overall looks fair. There are several hail dings and the driver's door panel has had body work that can be easily PDR'd if you would like but no visible rust on any of the body panels. All chrome is shiny and without corrosion or faded spots. The tires are brand new (10 miles) and the wheels are in good shape. The interior of the car is in good shape (needs cleaning), the headliner is intact as you can see in the pictures, and only 2 small cracks in the dash. The driver seat has a small crack in one spot but no rips, the other seats are in good shape with no stains. The rear seat is adjustable as well. The radio works but the antenna will not extend so the stations dont work well, there is a lot of static. The power windows, sunroof, door locks, adjustable seats, lights, horn and mirrors work properly, except for the passenger rear window will not roll up if lowered and the driver's seat "bottoms" out when sat on. The A/C does not work. Mileage is not correct as odometer does not work and therefore exempt on the miles. Overall a sound 300 SDL. There are not many SDL's around in this condition.
