The actual title they have for it states: “Unclaimed Affidavit” which most likely was a vehicle taken by the courts in relationship to a crime and became their property. Under Ohio Law, these titles will show Unclaimed Affidavit / Salvage on them. It is now titled in the City of Ashland and will be transferred to the new buyer You are buying this vehicle “AS IS” with No Warranty or Guarantees at all!! This is basically under Police Custody and has been cleared for sale!! In our opinion (Listing eBay Broker) you will have to have this TOWED or Fixed before driving. It did start up and run fine. Front wheel drive worked, but the back Tires ARE LOCKED UP, we think due to a stuck emergency brake based on light indicator or perhaps from sitting for a couple of years. We attempted to drive it out of the parked area for pictures but it did not move far due to the locked back tires. The heater system did work good while it was running. The white smoke you see in the pictures around the exhaust was due to the 25 degree temps that morning and not oil based smoke. A Good cleaning will be needed overall. The contents of the car you see pictured will be tossed before you take possession of the vehicle, but it will NOT be cleaned up!! We have NO HISTORY on this vehicle other than the Carfax/Autocheck we used prior to listing. It showed no accidents with this vehicle. We have no knowledge of what all works in the vehicle and what doesn’t outside of the engine running fairly smoothly and the transmission going into gear both ways and responding fine. Current miles as of 1-15-2013 was 95407 miles at time of pictures. Battery will most likely need replaced very soon as it needed jumped before it was started, but then it ran fine.
