This vehicle was built for running the sand dunes in Michigan along with driving on the highway. I purchased this vehicle last year with the intentions of putting a Cummins 4BTA diesel with an Alison automatic in it. Before I could start work on this project, I acquired another project (Scout SS II clone) and sadly, the Travelall has to go, I need the room. I haven’t done a thing to this vehicle (since I’ve owned it) but fix the choke and replace the battery. Always kept inside. The travelall: 56K miles on the odometer, (Was told it’s original but cannot verify). Still has original rubber floor mats with no tears, and the brake pedal and throttle appear to have the correct amount of wear for the mileage. The front bench seat is in great condition with no tears or stains. Back seat is almost as pristine. 345 engine and automatic trans. 4” lift with custom springs. 4X4 works great and transfer case is solid. All brakes have been re-built with new components. New u-joints all around. 15” Aluminum rims W/bead locks and 35” Super Swamper tires. Full dual exhaust with chrome tips. All body work is done and the rear wheel-wells have been opened up to match the front ones. Looks great, and this allows for much more tire clearance. Rear tailgate with roll down window. Works great. Body is fully painted. Very little rust anywhere on this vehicle. I have four extra doors (damn heavy) and a radiator support with radiator. Also have a few boxes of spare parts to go with it. What it needs: The exhaust manifold gaskets need to be replaced. I have a set of headers that I was going to install. I’ll throw them in too. Please note, this vehicle is almost 40 years old, as such, it’s not perfect. I bought it because of its great condition, but everyone has their own ideas as to what constitutes great.
