I bought this bike on the side of the road in January 2012.The bike had not been run in about 25 years.The original owner is a retired honda mechanic from Honda of Venezuela.The odometer reads in Km.I bought it from a handy man that took the bike as partial payment for some work he had done,and never was able to make it run.I rebuilt the carbs,installed a new clutch,new battery,had the tank,side covers,and head light bucket repainted.Installed a new chain and am running the bike on mobile one.The bike came with a box of parts all OEM that he collected while working at honda.The rest of the parts go with the bike.The odometer reads 15,144 km which I belive is 9,237 miles.I reset the trip and have rolled it one time back to 157 km,so I have put 705 miles on her.The bike has a Marvin 4 into 1 header with an LXI chrome tip I welded on just for looks.The bike starts up easy,runs strong,and sounds good.The turn signals work manualy, there is no flasher installed.I just did not get to it.The rear brake drum is vented and the rims appear to be different than stock 500 rims?Maybe race adds.It is time for tires.This is a fun bike to ride.There is a cam shaft in the extra parts.I dont now if it is a stock cam that he swaped out back in the day or if it was one he was going to put in.Any questions feel free to ask.Thanks Bill.Clear Florida title in my name.On Jan-19-13 at 04:40:06 PST, seller added the following information: I just lowered the reserve on the bike so that it sells.I am heading to the Mecum Auction and will be back sunday night.If there are any questions I will answer them when I get back.Thanks Bill.
