Vehicle Detail
No reserve auction! 1932 Model B 3-Window Coupe vin #18-127XXX, all steel body car that was professionally built by a perfectionist for a perfectionist. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is breathtaking. Everything on this car is painted body color, chrome or polished. It is finished in a beautiful candy blue paint that looks more like a mirror than paint. Everything about this car was thought out and made to flow together. It is one of those few cars that has the ability to impress you more and more as you look at it and discover the details. This car was recently independently appraised for $150,000. Here is a quote from the end of that appraisal: Even though the vehicle is of brand new construction, the condition enhancements are based on the quality of work that was performed. The vehicle that was built represents a high level of craftsmanship during its construction and shows a level of detail that is rarely seen in the production of these types of vehicles. Up front is a polished Dan Fink grill and behind that is a Motown small block 427 with polished aluminum heads and a BDS 671 blower (with 6 lbs of boost) that has two Holleys and custom spun velocity stacks on top. The transmission is a Turbo 400 with a Hurst reverse lock-out shifter. The rear end is a Halibrand Quick-Change that is also polished. It all connects with M&H Racemaster Cheater Slicks on the rear and “Skinnies” on the front - all mounted on chromed Halibrand aluminum wheels. One of the many details is the license plate frame that was custom made (in a 60‘s style) to honor one of the greatest dragstrips of all time - Lion’s. The interior is covered with custom dyed Italian leather. Even the shifter boot was custom stitched from the same leather. The carpet is high grade wool as are the floor mats. The highlight of the custom formed dash are the unique gauges that are painted in the same body color. The dash even has a handy leather trimmed glove box. There is also a hide-away touch screen that controls the sound system in the car that has 6 tastefully hidden speakers. The stereo amp is hidden in the trunk. The cover for the amp was removed and painted in body color and then the lettering was silk screened back on. Even the iPod was painted to match. As I have said - you will not believe the details of this car. Even opening the doors will take you back to the early days of Hot Rod show cars - think Hirohata Merc. The car is new and has under 100 miles on it since completed. This is a chance to buy a new car for a fraction of the cost of building it and without waiting the 5 years it took to build this car. Even the most demanding of enthusiasts will be impressed with this car. This car is being sold as is and where is. There is no warranty expressed or implied. Since this car is being marketed by other means also, I reserve the right to end his auction early if there are no bids. On Jan-13-13 at 07:54:39 PST, seller added the following information: I should also mention that this car has a built in, hard wired "Battery Tender" battery charger - just plug it in to keep the battery in top shape.
