LIFTED & LOCKED Selling my son's, 78 CJ5 that he's been building for the last three years. He has well over $13,000.00 in it and 1000+ man hours. He had torn this jeep down to the frame,sitting on blocks, and rebuilt this road monster, literally from the ground up! Every nut, bolt, piece & part had hands on attention. The Frame was blasted and painted with chassis saver, then painted. Has new 4 wheel drive fiberglass tub with new poly body mounts and hardware. Forget about it rusting! Fresh 304 motor with new everything, gaskets, Accel wires, plugs, cap, rotor, coil, 140 amp Power Master alternator, rebuilt carb, Summit headers, belts & fresh oil. Jeep has also been completely rewired, at an additional cost of $1200.00. Jeep has custom Steel Diamond Plate body armor that's bolted to tub and tubular flat fenders. It should be damn near impossible to hurt the outside of this jeep!! Check out the pictures. It has front and rear Off Road bumpers. Rear bumper has an air tank built into it and holds 140psi of air. The front bumper has a 8500lb Smittybilt winch and new Hella off road lights. Jeep has new Rough Country leaf packs with new RC shocks (about 6 inch lift). Also has stainless, braided brake hoses with all new brake lines with new pads, shoes, drums and master cylinder. Has new 373 gears with rear spiders welded (Lincoln Locked) in rear and new 373 gears in front with Lok Right locker. Rear also has one piece, alloy axles( amc 20 rear diff). Front and rear Rugged Ridge heavy duty diff covers (3/8" thick). Has new fuel tank with new sending unit and pump. Jeep has Tremec, 3 speed tranny w/all new synthetic gear oil. Jeep also has new wind shield with new frame and seal. Jeep has new Iron Horse seats and Beast top locking center console.It also has a custom diamond plate dash with new gauges. Depending on where this Jeep will be driven, if heat is required, then you can add a 12 volt ceramic one. Quite a lot of the older CJs did not come with any heat source. Usually just heat off of the engine. Most guys do not even care! Just want to be clear.A nice ceramic heater can be gotten for around $18 to $79, depending on your preference. Has 6 point roll bar, welded in with 4 point harness tubes also welded in. Jeep has a new inspection with emission stickers. Jeep will go anywhere and take a TON of punishment! Or it can just be a weekend cruiser. It also has a new steering stabilizer on it and it is manual steering, not power steering, just to be clear. Jeep has like new Mastercraft Courser 35/12.50/15 tires with 15 x 12 bead lock steel rims. Plus, it also have a brand new, still in the box, Bikini Top for it. Plus, a grey soft top w/ grey doors that's in just fair condition. I'm only selling because of two other projects that I am working on.
