Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on one 1972 Fiat 850 Spider. Running and driving parts car. No evidence of any serious wrecks, etc..NEW: Head Gasket, Carburetor Rebuild, Plugs, Wires, Rotor, Points, Belts, Lower Radiator Hose. I had an auxiliary gas can hooked up with an electric fuel pump to get it running and driving, THIS SETUP WILL NOT BE INCLUDED WITH CAR. Runs and drives well..... SEE VIDEO!!! TONS OF PHOTOS AND VIDEO AT BOTTOM OF LISTING. Just click VIEW ALL to go to the photobucket page. I would not consider this as a car one should restore, although you could get away with driving it if you wanted to attract some serious attention and get some good laughs. Basically, this is a great parts car as the engine runs well, suspension is functioning well and car is mostly complete. Body is TOAST, bondo, rust, etc... X brace has normal rust but jack points are actually good. Rust in door jambs. Car appears to have had no serious wrecks as it tracks well and drives well. Wheels may differ slightly from ones in photo but will be exact same style and function. Tires are rollers, not fit for highway use. If you wanted to use them around the neighborhood....you could. Brakes were working but went soft, just need to be bled probably, so E-brake is only method of brakes at this time. Only missing parts are Top Frame, Top Latches and Top, Spare Tire, Battery Cover, Window Handles, Sun Visors, Driver Door Panel, Cooling Tins and Seatbelts. Keys do not work glove box or doors but do work ignition just fine. Here are the details: ENGINE: COMPRESSION IS 120-132-150-150 Front to Back...warm. NEW: Head Gasket, Carburetor Rebuild, Plugs, Wires, Rotor, Points, Belts and Lower Radiator Hose I have not found any oil leaks!!! Water pump leaks a little when you first crank it up, but then seals up fine once warm....this will get better the more it is driven. I was running this on an auxiliary fuel tank and electric fuel pump which WILL NOT BE INCLUDED WITH CAR. INTERIOR: Fair. Rubber mats and other interior rubber is fair, but driver quality. Seats function properly but are very worn. Console is NICE. Other interior vinyl is fair condition. Dash has cracks, but gauges are in good shape. The hole in the panel behind the seats was from where a MUNTZ 8-TRACK was installed!!! BODY: Body is TOAST. Lots of bondo and very rusty. Doors actually not too bad, trunk and deck lid are pretty good. All glass is good. Some hazing around edges of windshield. Convertible top boot cover works well and latches nice and tight. Bumpers are fairly straight except right front. They have rust also though. Passenger door does not like to stay closed, driver door closes fine. Weatherstripping is poor. ELECTRICAL: I am not an electrical guy, so all I did was clean the fuse panel contacts. Only electrical that is working are Speedo, Horn, Temperature and Oil Gauge, Hazards and Courtesy Interior Lights. The Tachometer was working but stopped. These are very simple cars, so I am sure alot of stuff would work if you are minded in an electrical sense. CHASSIS: Solid with normal surface rust. All suspension points and jack points are good. Brakes were working but went soft, so E-Brake is only method of braking. Tires are only good for rollers and neighborhood driving. X-Brace has normal structural rust. Door Jambs have rust as well. Front trunk pan has rust through. I can assist with delivery within a couple of hundred(NOT THOUSANDS) of miles for a fee. 500 miles is not a couple for example. OK, here is all the stuff I have to state because of the idiots of the world. IF YOU HAVE ZERO OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK, YOU MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING, IF NOT, YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELED, NO EXCEPTIONS. PAYMENT IS DUE 7 DAYS FROM AUCTION END. CAR MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 14 DAYS OF AUCTION END. A $25 PER DAY STORAGE FEE WILL BE ASSESSED EACH DAY OVER 14 DAYS AFTER AUCTION END. Thanks and good luck.
