This is my personal vehicle & I’m only selling this because I purchased another Smart car, since I don’t need two of them this one is up for sale. I purchased this vehicle just over a year ago from the original owner and I have had ZERO issues with it. The vehicle has never been in an accident and hence it has had no body work or repairs. Fuel mileage is approximately 42-44 mpg around town & the best mileage I’ve seen is when I traveled to NY on the interstates for hours at 70 mph a whopping 57.5 mpg! I checked it twice, I just couldn’t believe it! Everything on the car works as if it were new. There are a few very minor cosmetic scratches or stone chips & I only mention them because they are so small they will likely never show up in the pictures. This Smart has some neat options like Power Steering, CLOTH heated seats (typically they are leather heated seats but this one is unique), It does have the center dash mounted analog clock & tachometer, & the typical Smart 6 disk CD/AM/FM radio. I have a Segway hauler so I installed a tow bar or Class 1 receiver hitch on the rear of this vehicle. This allows me to use my Segway hauler for local events/activities without having to lift it to put it in the rear storage compartment – yes it does fit behind the seats! Since the rear tow bar is actually rated to tow 1,000 pounds I went ahead & wired up the lighting for a trailer plug BUT this car has never towed anything since I don’t own a trailer for the vehicle. Now for the best part – I use this vehicle as a toad or dingy vehicle behind my RV. I personally installed the front mounted BlueOx baseplate & associated wiring for connecting the RV’s tail lights to the Smart which consequently operates the Smart Car’s tail lights while in tow. A smart car can be towed with all four wheels down. I am including a BlueOx aluminum tow bar, safety cables, & a light wiring harness with the sale of this vehicle. The nice thing about this is if for some reason you needed to take this vehicle in for service or repairs, you can connect the tow bar to the front of the Smart car, hook it on the back of your pickup or van (requires a Class III receiver hitch) & tow it to the dealership, drop it off, and come back later to the dealership to pick it up when the work is done & simply tow it back home! No need for a second driver. This is a garage kept vehicle, I have no pets & I don’t smoke so it has not been smoked in. I am still using this vehicle occasionally (locally) so the mileage might be a little more than what I have listed, if it is sold I will immediately take the vehicle off the road and garage it. The rear license plate/tag is NOT included with this sale. I have the title in hand and once full payment has been received & funds have cleared my bank, the vehicle will be released & the title will be signed over to the new owner. This vehicle is for sale locally, and if it is sold this listing may end early. A $500 Paypal deposit is due within 24 hours following the close of this listing.
