Very rare Vintage Mercedes Super Sedan. I bought this example last year to add to My Mercedes Collection. I have always wanted to own a 6.3. If you are reading this listing you are no doubt familiar with the amazing low production 6.3, Mercedes top production sedan fitted with the monster V8 from the handbuilt 600 Limo. It made it the fastest sedan in the world when it came out. Regretfully, I am now needing to sell some cars. I spent years looking for a rust free example of this very rare model in one of the most desirable color combos of black with red interior. The Last owner kept this car in great shape for many years and obviously kept it garaged the entire time he owned it as have I. To find such a nice original car is rare. Condition: The paint is older, but nice and was obviously a high end repaint. It still has a good shine. Interior is very nice. The leather is excellent with no rips or tears. It has been redone in the correct leather and pattern and looks great. The wood is orignal and still in good shape, not perfect, but nice. Mechanically, It runs and drives well, but will need maintenence before using regularly. It has good oil pressure, does not overheat, blow smoke etc. It had been stored for years before I purchased it. I planned to go through the car to make it a reliable car for Mercedes club trips and touring, but I did not get past basic things. It has new tune up parts, plugs, has had the fluids changed and the tank flushed. The air suspension is in good shape. It holds the car up well and airs up very quickly when started after sitting for weeks. If you are like me and have been looking for one of these cars that isnt $50,000+ but could be worth that without extensive work, this car is really a good deal and rare find.
