This is my wife's 2001 SAAB 9-5 that she has owned for two years. It is currently running, however, it started stumbling recently and we sent it in to have it checked out at a reputable SAAB repair facility, and we discovered it is in need of it's direct ignition modules replaced. The garage also recommended replacing the exhaust. The quote to have the DIM's replaced and get the car running great again was $1600. We pondered about a week considering getting the repairs done, but we already knew we needed a larger vehicle anyway, so we have decided to sell the SAAB as is, and maybe someone mechanically inclined can have a great car for a deal, or a great parts car. My wife loves the car, has always been a fantastic road vehicle, and is actually quite economical for a V6 Turbo. (Around 21 city, 27 Hwy) It comes loaded with remote keyless entry, heated leather seats, (front and back) dual front climate controls with rear heat/AC, electric sliding sunroof, and much more. The condition of the exterior is good, however, there are a few dings that I tried to capture in all the pictures. The interior is also not new, but still a very nice clean looking car inside and out. Upon appearance, the interior of the car looks to be just a few years old. I do know the vehicle was smoked in, but you wouldnt know by sitting in it. The tires are matching and nearly brand new. All the electronics work in the car, with the exception of the OnStar antenna has worn pretty good sitting outside the car, and the passenger window recently went off track even though it still works fine. Was quoted $40 to repair the window tracking. The numerous other options on the car, including cold AC and a great stereo system work perfectly. The 97,000 miles are true and original, and when running properly, drives and feels like a new car. We have decided to place this car up for NO RESERVE, and will start the bidding low to get it going, have a clear title in my hand. Last bid wins. It's just like old school EBay! This vehicle, while running, can not be driven any length of time. You can drive it onto a trailer, but the sputtering would not allow you to travel any distance over simply driving onto a trailer. Time: I have a big family with a lot of cars. (3 teen drivers) My driveway is cramped! I believe two weeks is a reasonable time to have the vehicle picked up, but if circumstances warrant you needing a little more time, again, I will help out as much as I can.
