Up for auction is this classic 71 dodge Van . Named "old number 7" A Jack Daniels theamed van . This Van was a local show van to NJ in the 70's and Countless hours of wood work and custom interior work and custom body work has been done to this dodge back in the day . It has a custom hard wood floor , cabnits , over head consol , Barrel seats , hand made door panels ,custom mirror and a tree section for decoration . It has wood plates for switches as well . Inside the Cabnites are Jack Daniels tins and decorations . Most interesting is the rare hand carved wagon wheel spokes . These go over the wheels and bolt in . I keep them off so they don't get weathered . The body is very solid , it has a double vista roof , barracuda door handles, shaved tail lights , and a custom grill with 8 head lights ,and a charger gas cap , a custom Visor with wipers. It is starting to peal and crack in some places. I have made a video so you can see . the roof line is pealing more then cracking the wheel flairs have some cracking see pics for details . This is an Orginal Big Block 400 Van , It runs very strong it was rebuilt some time ago before i bought it . Big Block 400 with a 727 automatic ! when i bought the van it had the wrong wiring system . Some one had cut alot of the wiring from the back inside of the van for reasons i don't know why . The original shorted out on the many nails that where in the dash for the button tuck dash . I removed all of that and you will have to do something with that to make it look nice once again . It now has a 76 harness thats in very good shape . I only wired it up to the point of getting it running . These are pretty simple to wire up . So you can add what ever lighting you wish be it original or new . It has hand etching on the glass and windshield the glass is very clean . It's Not moldy or staned in the rugs. All and all a very easy restoration on a classic van can be done here . It just needs to be finshed and tucked way in places and Lights need to be wired . There is a manual for these you can buy on line it's very easy to read and follow the little lines and color notes . I'll offer the buyer that info when the time comes . Any one interested in this van should have some restoration skills or friends that do .
