TERMS OF SALE OVERVIEW: the boring but necessary “fine print” The following terms of sale apply to all of our online sales: Who we are The Carfinders, LLC, DBA, The Carfinders, is registered North Carolina corporation and is a duly licensed used car dealer in NC, license # 0072340. Please see ourwebsitefor our history and more about how we do business. Payment methods We gladly accept certified check, bank wire transfers, or verifiable 3rd-party financing only. All funds must be in U.S dollars only. Please be sure to have permission from spouse, parent, significant other, etc, full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid. All certified checks must be accompanied by the name and address of the issuing financial institution along with the name of a contact person and their phone number at least 3 days before delivery for verification purposes. Deposit The successful high bidder must submit a $500 (non refundable)within 24 hours of close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Payment of balance due The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance (plus applicable fees & taxes) within 3 days of close of auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle. Fees and taxes All buyers, including dealers or wholesalers must pay $199.99 dealer documentation and processing fee. This dealer fee partially covers items such as inspecting, servicing, transporting, fuel, detailing, temporary tag and registration and preparation for delivery of vehicle. NC residents will pay highway use taxes and all applicable registration fees as required by the State of North Carolina for a new or transferred license plate. Bid Cancellations We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale at any time. This vehicle is for sale locally and subject to sale before end of auction. Bid retractions Bid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auction ends. Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction. Successful bidder The winning bidder must personally contact The Carfinders within 24 hours by telephone to proceed with payment and delivery arrangements. If no contact is made within 24 hours, we reserve the right to sell the vehicle to the 2nd highest bidder or another qualified buyer. Vehicle pick-up Please give us at least 2 days notice before pickup by yourself or your transporter to allow us time to have your vehicle reinspected, fueled & detailed for delivery. Titles and tags Most of the time we have all titles in our possession, but occasionally it can take 1 to 4 weeks to get the titles from the dealer auctions. We appreciate your understanding and patience patient, and we will send your title via "USPS" registered mail as soon as we have it. Normally you will be given a “30 day Tag” so that you can drive legally anywhere THANKS!
