Up for sale is a very well-maintained Ford E-450 dually (dual rear wheel, DRW) diesel former Ambulance chassis. It has 158" wheelbase and measures 100" from the back of the cab to the center of the rear axle. This unit was county owned and operated by a local government agency and was in service prior to coming to us to remount the ambulance module. They maintain their vehicles well and the mechanical condition of this unit shows that. It starts, runs and drives well. the brakes and all other systems work as they should. The A/C worked prior to taking it out of service, however we have removed the refrigerant from the system to dismount the box. Could be sealed off and recharged easily. The front tires are very good and the rear have about 25% tread left. The engine, transmission, rear differential all are very sound mechanically. This would make a good parts vehicle if you wanted to dismantle it or would be excellent for a flatbed, box truck or other conversion. The minumum bid is the reserve and if it gets a bid, the Buy-It-Now will go away. Full payment must be made within 5 days of the end of the auction, however pickup can be anytime within 30 days. We are a Michigan dealer, therefore depending upon the state where this will be registered, we may need to collect taxes at time of sale. There will be no additional fees to process the transaction.
