RARE -- RARE -- RARE 1956 F-100 FORD PICKUP ORIGINAL PAINT ORGINAL PATINA 2ND OWNERS We bought this truck from the original owner who was a machinist. He rebuilt the 289 and C4 automatic. We installed the engine and transmission after we purchased it. My husband is a certified Ford Mechanic and says the engine is one of the sweetest engines he has seen (really well built). We have put approx. 3,000 miles on the truck since everything was completed. We work from home so we only used the truck for car shows, club events and fun runs. Things we added to the truck to make it more enjoyable to drive. Replaced king pins front end Custom Front sway bar All New Brakes 289 engine rebuilt 289 4 barrel Carb. Original Autolite rebuilt C-4 automatic transmission (attached to the original column shifter) Rebuilt Original seat reupholstered and Lowered 1" New Rubber floor mat new tires and rims Baby moons Aluminum diamond plate bed ( 1/2" steel plate under bed) New tail lights Stainless Steel Front bumper Power Steering New Headliner Electronic Ignition Pertronix New exhaust and mufflers-- dual Rear end (taller gears with Possi) Makes for better freeway cruising Both vent windows replaced. L.H. side cracked! Heater is original and works really good. This is a clean Dry California Original Truck. We named it the Bad Banana! Look under the rear window :) The new owner can have their business name put on the doors of the truck. It really has helped business to advertise this way. We will remove our door advertisment after it has sold and has been paid in full. This truck is an awsome truck, however things have change and we must let her go. We know it will be pretty much impossible to find another ORIGINAL Patina 1956 Truck. We hope the new owner will love her and get as much pleasure as we have. The Front windshield was replaced new as was the rubber. The glass has a crack on the passanger side. We will provide a new glass for the new owner. There is a small rust spot on the lower L.H. door and on one cab corner also left side has one rust hole. This truck as far as we know has all original Panels! Runs very good, lights all in working order, heater and windshield wipers work. Buyer to pay any and all cost to ship or pick up truck.
