Vehicle Detail
2006 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe, Arctic Silver Metallic with Stone Gray interior. Very clean and highly-optioned. 48,800 miles. (I’m listing the car for my father – his description follows.) One owner, purchased new in July of 2005 as an early-’06 model. No accidents, however the rear bumper was repainted due to repair of a scratch (I have the ‘before’ pictures). The car has received all routine maintenance and is up-to-date, and the RMS was replaced under warranty with the updated design. Recent oil change and new brake pads all around. The car is equipped with the rare (and expensive) factory Aerokit, which really sets it apart. I’ve gone to the GT3-style (black) chin spoiler, as they’re a bit more durable in unpainted form (and they look better, in my opinion). 3M clear vinyl applied on front when new. Stone guards in front of rear wheels are beginning to yellow. The interior is very clean. Non-smoker. Seats were usually covered and appear as-new. Carpet is not faded or worn; headliner is spotless. I have all significant service receipts from the beginning. Options: Leather Sport Seats 19” Carrera Classic Wheels Multifunction Steering Wheel Sport Chrono Plus Pkg Navigation Bose High-End Sound Pkg Remote CD Changer Sport Shifter Porsche Crests in Headrests Metal Door Sills Factory Aerokit – (over $9k!!!) Factory Sport Exhaust Performance Headers – (with the Sport Exhaust, it sounds amazing, though somewhat louder than stock) I am a near-20-year PCA member, former Suncoast Region president, and long-time track instructor. And yes, as any good Porsche-loving owner should, I’ve taken the car to the track for PCA Driver’s Ed events. This is not a sign of abuse; rather this is a good indicator of fanatical maintenance. The car has been very well cared for and has received anything it needed without delay. You will find cheaper 911s out there, but please keep in mind that this is a highly-optioned S model for not much more than people are asking for a base Non-S. There is a difference, as this car carries close to $20k in factory options. It will appeal to an enthusiast buyer. I’ll be very responsive to questions sent through the eBay “Ask Seller” function. I will also be happy to show the car to anybody who would like to see it (Dunedin, FL, just west of Tampa), and there are a number of Porsche specialists in the area for a PPI – will accommodate within reason. Terms and Conditions: I require the winning bidder to make contact within 24 hours of auction close, and a $2,000 down payment via PayPal within 48 hours. The balance should be paid by certified cashier’s check (subject to verification) or cash in person within 7 days. I reserve the right to cancel a bid for a bidder with zero feedback or significant negative feedback. Please contact me prior to bidding if you meet either description. I have done my best to describe the car’s condition, but the car is being sold as-is. Mileage may be slightly higher at time of sale, as I still drive it a bit. It is up to the buyer to perform any additional inspection prior to the end of the auction. Buyer arranges and pays any shipping costs, however I will assist in transporting the car to a pickup site (within reason). The car is also advertised locally; I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time for a local buyer.
